A prolific Austrian composer who was born in 1797, and died 1828.
Despite his early death (possibly from typhoid), he left a very large body of work, including his Lieder (songs) and nine symphonies (among them the famous "Unfinished Symphony").
Schubert was born into a musical family, and received formal musical training through much of his childhood. While Schubert had a close circle of friends and associates who admired his
