David Thomas Jones as born December 30, 1945 and gained fame as Davy Jones of The Monkees. Although he played the Artful Dodger in the Broadway and London productions of "Oliver!" and appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show on the same night as the Beatles made their debut in 1964, he is better known as one of the group.
