The quintessential 1979 epic war movie "Apocalypse Now" is set during the Viet Nam War and is about two United States Army officers, one of which is on a mission to kill the other. It stars Martin Sheen, Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Laurence Fishburne, and Sam Bottoms and is directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
