• English Broadside Ballad Archive  - The University of California-Santa Barbara's resource on early ballads, especially black-letter broadsides of the seventeenth century. Includes transcriptions, sample sound files, background essays, and information about the project.
• Oxford Book of Ballads  - An anthology of ballads from the Middle Ages onwards, chosen and edited by Arthur Quiller-Couch and first published in 1910.
• Sixteenth Century Ballads  - A project that aims to produce a collection of ballads from before 1600, with lyrics, articles, and links to other web resources.
• Traditional Ballad Index  - Offers an annotated bibliography of folk songs of the English-speaking world, with a discography; available online and to download.
