• American Literary Translators Association (ALTA)  - Broad-based organization committed to promoting literary translation through services to literary translators, forums, collaboration, and advocacy.
• Electronic Literature Foundation (ELF)  - Aims to produce advanced electronic texts useful to students, scholars, and enthusiasts of literature throughout the world.
• The Loft Literary Center  - Nonprofit arts organization that provides services for writers and readers at every level. Aims to support the artistic development of writers, foster a writing community, and build an audience for literature.
• Munster Literature Centre  - Arts organization promoting and celebrating literature particularly that of Munster. Organizes festivals, workshops, readings, and competitions.
• Not Just Desserts Book Club  - Book club of mainly contemporary fiction, based in and around Tunbridge Wells Kent.
• Underground Literary Alliance  - American writers group working to build an enjoyable and exciting alternative to literacy mainstream. Seeks to provide representation for writers and to expose corruption in the publishing world.
