Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was a French writer and aviator. He is known for his children's book "The Little Prince" but is also known for novels on an aviation theme.
He was born in 1900 and died in 1944 when his plane is assumed to have crashed while on an assignment to collect intelligence on German troop movements.
