William Edmund Butterworth Griffin is an American writer of military and detective fiction, his works include the M*A*S*H series. He writes under several pseudonyms including W. E. B. Griffin, Alex Baldwin, Webb Beech, Walker E. Blake, James McM. Douglas, Eden Hughes, Edmund O. Scholefield, Patrick J. Williams, W. E. Butterworth
and John Kevin Dugan.
