Author best known for her autobiography, Out of Africa, which was made into an Oscar winning film. Her given name was Karen Christence Dinesen, later, Baroness Blixen-Finecke. She wrote using the names Isak Dinesen, Pierre Andrézel, Tania Blixen and Osceola.
