Martian Successor Nadesico, also called "Mobile Battleship Nadesico," is a sci-fi comedy anime TV series, and a later manga series which takes place in the year 2196. Earth is battling aliens known as the Jovian lizards and the Nadesico is the battleship designed by the Earth.
