Key the Metal Idol is an OVA anime series which ran in Japan from 1994 through 1997. It centers around Mima Tokiko, a robot, who goes by the name Key. Through a series of events, she finds that she can become human, but while she is attempting to do so, agents chase her for the secrets her body contains.
