Maine Preservation: Bar Harbor Club
Constructed in 1929, at the start of the Great Depression, the building served as a seasonal getaway for the very wealthy, with salt and fresh water swimming pools, tennis courts, locker rooms and a restaurant. After sitting empty for years, it was restored in 2004.
