Opened in March 2008, the Adams Cancer Center is located in the WellSpan Adams Health Center in Gettysburg. This center provides state-of-art cancer treatment services by board certified medical and radiation oncologists in convenient and comfortable surroundings. A full range of support services is available to assist patients and their families. Assistance is provided by oncology social workers, dietitians, a nurse navigator, and nurse educators. Diagnostic imaging and laboratory services are also located within the building, as are physical therapy, outpatient infusion and other physician specialties.
