I truly don't understand the one star reviews! I have multiple chronic illnesses and have "had" to go to upmc mckeesport on numerous occasions now...because it's simply the closest UPMC hospital and I won't make it down to Presbyterian (my normal hospital) where ALL my doctors are fast enough. I have ALWAYS been treated with dignity and respect!! They have saved my life now on 4 different occasions and they are extremely clean and professional.
I had a severe bowel blockage during the height of covid as well as congestive heart issues- I was sincerely comfortable the entire time and never felt afraid that I would get the virus. I ? you UPMC MCKEESPORT

Staff in the step down unit are very unfriendly , they sit around and do nothing All day besides play on their phone's I would not recommend this hospital to anyone

This is a second home for me. I was born here, got my first real job here. Worked in the Surgical ICU here for almost 10 years. I've learned many things here and made many friends too. Now we are receiving treatment at the Hillman Cancer Center here and feel very fortunate to have access (locally) to one of the top treatment centers in the country.

This place is a joke, was in a car accident I'm having pain in my back and my neck. Terrible migraine and I've been sitting here in a waiting room for 4 hours. Asked the triage nurse for a motrin or ibuprofen was told to just go back to the waiting area for a doctor. This is terrible.

We had the worst experience there emergency room very bad. Clean but if you walk in be prepared to sit for hours.4 hour's nothing check in fast smooth. Stay away from there if you walk in....
