After throwing away thousands of dollars on a different attorney, I hired Angela to correct a problem overlooked by my previous counsel. Angela took charge of my case, made ME a priority, and gave my family the outcome we expected. My only regret; not having Angela on my side in the first place.

I got divorced in October 2018. The Stout Firm was very supportive and helpful. I thought I needed to write a review as this is one of the things that helped me in using the firm.

When I came to them about this, I sort of had a little therapy session. More so is this the right decision, do I really want to do this and are there alternatives. The team really cared about ME. It was great to know that I had support in keeping my marriage together however sometimes separation/divorce is needed. Which was my case. I still get "checked-in" on every now and again. It feels good. I am very thankful for the firm and would highly recommend.

**FOR THE LADIES READING THIS** The ONLY thing one needs to make sure to request is an original document of the decree. I moved to Austin and the system in Travis County is not up-to-date with Houston (and maybe others) systems. It was a nightmare going to places with a copy and not the original. I had to carry my divorce paperwork with me like it was birth certificate. That really burned me up but I got over that quickly. And know that it is MUUUUUUUUCH easier to change to your married name than it is to change back to your maiden name. That has nothing to do with the firm, but just sayin' to be ready for that piece. Don't get frustrated and stay focused on gaining yourself back in all of this. This is just a part of your story. Embrace it.
