Years ago when they were managed by Amli, and currently when they were managed by Holland, and recently taken over by Western National Property. The new management is unresponsive, the grass is dead, and prices have skyrocketed. Both Amli and Holland were amazing management companies, even the maintenance team was great. I've had a completely different experience with the new management and maintenance unfortunately. And while I've been trying to give them time to settle in, it just doesn't feel the same living here. The exterior of the apartments were painted and the rent soared. I've had a $500 increase in 3 short years. DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!!!!!!! The new management are slum lords !! Me and my husband are truck drivers !! We pay $2,500 a month and the trash that never gets taken out and we still get charged for the trash service!! If I can give them -10000 stars I would!! And also they tow your vehicle without any notification!! And they try to charge us $1,600 to get it towed out !! This place has gone downhill. We thought the cockroaches and management were bad last summer, but boy, was I wrong. Sadly, the entire renting situation in the Inland Empire is godawful at the moment, but please don't rent here. Prices are unnecessarily astronomic, I have cockroaches falling out of my microwave vent (which is highly disturbing given how much of a clean freak I am), they have a HUGE stray cat problem, and the trashes can go several days without getting picked up (it's SUPPOSED to be Sun thru Thurs, but heck if we're told anything). On top of all this, good luck getting any kind of response on anything, whether it's being told what changes are taking place or if we leave a voicemail wondering why our garbage isn't being picked up. This new management is bad news.Report
EDIT: they can't even deliver a lightbulb when your significant other requests one in person. Also, thanks for letting our atrium's grass die without notifying us as to why. I took the time to leave a bad review previously because I was disappointed with the communication provided by the former and new management team during the process of moving out, so it's only fair that I follow up to commend the new property manager Stephanie on her wonderful customer service on the back end.Report
It did take some time to get a response regarding my concerns with the end of my lease, but once I was finally able to connect with Stephanie she was kind, considerate and resolved my issue straight away. It sounds like they are working through some transitional issues but I am certain that once Stephanie gets a handle on things this will once again be a wonderful place to live!Re: I took the time to leave ... New management is terrible!!!! I keep on messaging them to pick up our trash, they keep on saying that there's a problem with the trash vendor!!! New management is absolutely terrible! We have had a valet trash service for years, and they didn't communicate at all about the trash and getting a new vendor. They have not been prepared at all. It's been sitting out for four days, now it's at the bottomReport
Floor, and is attracting wildlife and bugs. Called management repeatedly and they have done nothing. They have been here three weeks and are destroying it. Got hit walking home from work by a resident here. Dude was texting and driving. I luckily wasn't hurt. However when I informed them of the incident asking if they had cameras pointing towards their exit on Milliken they said they couldn't help me. Despite the accident happening on their property. I understand places like this need to have policies to avoid legal liability for situations like this but it was not a pleasant experience at all. I recommend they put up a stop sign so that their residents yield to pedestrians- not just traffic.ReportRe: Got hit walking home from ... I had a great experience living at Solamonte for 2 years. The management and maintenance both are great. The BEST thing was that they were really great and considerate when I was moving in and moving out. My apartment wasn't ready on the date of move-in but my movers had arrived with my stuff and Solamonte made arrangement for move-in on the same day. Upon move out, there were few charges that I disagreed with and discussed with them and they happily removed from the bill. Very responsive people especially Adam. He would always smile while giving you your packages (They later installed electronic package system which is cool. You'd get email or text msg and could retrieve packages on your own!). The ONLY CONCERN I had was that during renovation, the clubhouse was closed for a long time and the rent wasn't adjusted accordingly. They allowed the residents to use amenities at their other properties which was good but overall such long renovation was little inconvenient. Regardless, the people, management, maintenance, location, quality of life there, everything was wonderful. They communicate really well and you'll often have flyers on your doors to share information with you. My apartment was spacious, neighbors were awesome, and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Short drive from Ontario Airport as well. Don't forget to check out many beautiful parks nearby!Report

I'm confused why Solamonte has such a low rating.
For sure buildings have some issues, but be realistic, it cannot be avoided at any commercial leaving property.
Sad that some reviews are about rude managers. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Not at this place!
