Very modern and clean office. This is very rare to see any dentist who is really try the best to protect his/her patients during the pandemic. Everyone is extremely nice and professional. Insurance was not a issues as the team is great with what they do. Dr. Chris Chui and the hygienist are both awesome. Very patient and not hard sell at all. I came from another dentist who told me that I need to fix about 6 teeth and that turned out that I did not need any treatment at all. HIGHLY recommend Dr Chris Chui!!

I love how clean this office is especially when you are very careful of picking a dentist during the pandemic. Dr chui is very detailed and careful. Got some fillings done with no pain at all. Love the goodies bag that they have out at the end of the procedures. They even gave me fluoride after the procedures which made me feel that they are very thoughtful to help patients attain their oral health!

This office is super clean and modern. I have never seen any office as clean and tidy as this. Dr Chris chui is fantastic. Attentive and friendly. Love how he explained my Denta conditions with the photos and xrays. Even though I have no cavities(so proud of myself), I was educated a lot by his hygienist about how to maintain my or hygiene for the rest of my life. Great doctor for sure!

Dr. Chris Chui has successfully treated my husband with the special sleep apnea appliance which works amazingly well. I have witnessed my husband stopped breathing in the middle of the night and I thought he was going to die one day in bed. There was one night that I had to literature shake him up to allow him to breath because he had stopped breathing without any movement for over 30 seconds. Can you imagine counting the seconds that your husband is not breathing. We are forever grateful to Dr chui for helping us to save my husband's life. I strongly recommend anyone who has sleep apnea to seek help from Dr chui!

I came in to see Dr. Chui after seeing an aggressive advertising campaign offering $900 worth of "value" off of dental sleep medicine treatment in March. The consultation advertisement advised it was "Free." Chui was late to the appointment. While he seemed knowledge on Dental Sleep Medicine as suggested by some of the other reviews he only performed a cursory review of my medical history; failing to provide many of the free elements I traveled across the Bay seeking his care for. Instead, he jumped right to having me connect with an individual who quoted me thousands of dollars above other dental sleep appliance providers in San Francisco. When asked about procedure codes the office staff member got fairly frustrated and mentioned they were very busy today (despite the office now being empty) and that she's have to ask me to leave and that she's get back to me. It's now July/August of 2021 and I'm just now hearing back from the provider only they are billing me for the consult that was advertised as free. This practice is engaged in fraudulent behavior. In addition to not getting the free items promised in their advertisement, also expect to be billed for your consult. While the billing completely lacks any form of convention including a date of service, procedure code or diagnosis code the billed amount is over 35% higher than even the 99205 code I've had other practitioners successfully claim with insurance. Dr. Chui's office clearly lacks the basics in ethics and should be avoided at all costs.

Dr. Chui was my dentist for the past 4 years. Our journey, however, has ended. The start-up I was working at recently got acquired and our insurance provider changed to Cigna. Unfortunately, on my last visit I was informed by the finance department that I was "in network" for a porcelain crown replacement; they also informed me my cleaning was "in network". However, 6 months later, I get a reminder stating that I need to get a cleaning, and that I owe another $1,200 dollars after already paying $1,100 out of pocket. They claimed the insurance provider downgraded the charges. (which was a complete lie!) After threatening to take me to collections, and giving me payment terms of 6 months with interest. I reached out to Cigna to understand what happened. They brought it to my attention that their finance team didn't even bother to check if I was in the proper coverage tier, which is why I basically had to pay for $2300 on a $2800 dollar charge. I even had to pay for $150 dollars for the cleaning that took place a few days before. This is beyond unethical and I would recommend nobody EVER to visit Dr. Chui. Their finance lady L'Tanya is one of the worst people I've ever worked with, and when I went to speak to Dr. Chui directly after receiving this bill, she told me he was busy EVEN though I saw him in his office. She told me that this happens ALL THE TIME to their patients.... I actually asked a technician to speak with Dr. Chui, and he eventually spoke with me. I've appealed to Cigna, and I am waiting for their findings. Please don't make the same mistake as me, DO NOT VISIT.
