About Robert Binger MA

I specialize in helping women and men who wish to improve their lives.... Over the past 20 plus years of being a psychotherapist, I have learned that each person I work with is unique with their own pattern of thinking, feeling, behaving and relating. This pattern has developed over their lifetime to help them get along psychologically, first in the family he or she grew up in, and then in the larger world outside. Unfortunately, some patterns developed earlier in life may no longer be effective and in fact, may create problems in growing and living a fulfilling life. I view psychotherapy as a collaborative process where the client and I are working together to gain greater insight and understanding of what is working and not working in their lives and possibly why. It is through this greater awareness where I believe people then can begin to change.
