Private Home Care, Inc. is a personal care agency serving in-home clients in the Belfast, Maine and surrounding areas. Our services address health, safety and nutrition needs, as well as individual aspects of care such as personal interests and activities. We offer short- and long-term care services from 3 to 24 hours per day, always with back-up, to ensure that our clients and their families have reliable and consistent support. Care services range from light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, medication reminders and transportation to personal care, including assistance with feeding, bathing, dressing, incontinence, and mobility. With a focus on quality and a strong work ethic, PHC is dedicated to helping people live as comfortably and independently as possible in their homes. Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) are activities such as shopping, light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation. (This also may include transporting to medical appointments).
