This is a general store that is a central hub of the Amish community in the Cashton area. They carry lots of Amish goods including candy, crafts and baked and canned goods for sale. They have a cheese factory right next door and you can see on closed-circuit TV how the cheese is being made. They have fresh ice cream, maple syrup and lots of other items that you will want to try before you buy so they sample many of the items because they want you to be happy with the purchase before you're on your way home again. They also have lots of items to sample. If you find yourself in the middle of nowhere and are not sure where to go . . . someone at the Old Cheese Factory can tell you where to find everything in the area and a great place to find Pizza flavored Cheese curds and if you warm them up in the microwave they are just heavenly.
