Pioneer Memorial Hospital and Nursing Facility is a 21-bed hospital able to provide a wide range of services.
The hospital opened in 1950 and has undergone various renovations over the years. Recent improvements include the addition of a 16 slice CAT scanner and a remodeled long-term care wing. Pioneer Memorial Hospital has an active medical staff of four physicians and one physician's assistant. Ancillary services include home health, hospice, physical therapy, radiology, and laboratory.

The hospital's emergency department maintains an Oregon Trauma Level IV designation. All registered nurses working in the emergency department are certified in trauma care and advanced cardiac life support.

In addition to acute and emergency care services, the hospital provides skilled nursing care and long-term care.
