Millcreek of McGee Behavioral Health

I was a patient at Mill Creek on three separate occasions in my youth. The first time was when I was 9yrs old, the second was when I was 11yrs old, and the third was when I was 15yrs old, and each time was worse than the last. I was physically and emotionally abused on multiple occasions by the staff who either hurt me themselves or had other patients hurt me. On one occasion they locked me in what is referred to as a "control room" and refused to let me out so that I could go to the bathroom. I was forced to go in the corner of the room, and even after that they still didn't let me out for several hours. When they would hold me down for what were basically tranquilizer shots they would mock me as they lowered my pants to just below my hip to give me the shot. I've been to multiple facilities, both long and short term, in the state of Mississippi, as well as one long term in New Orlean. But this was one of only two that did more harm than good. I am now an adult and an doing quite well, no thanks to Mill Creek. If you love your child do not send them here as it will do far more harm than good.

My son Robert Luke Beckham has lived at Millcreek for almost 5 years. Everything has been good.
Everyone who lives here and work here are awesome.

My daughter was abused by staff members at this treatment center, for my daughter and me this facility did more harm then any type of good.
