They billed me $640 for a 5 minute office visit. Super unethical.

This doctor billed my daughter $640 for a 5 minute office visit. They use Telemonitoring at SPI office and thus insurance won't pay for the visit. My insurance EOB states that my portion is $127.09 according to BC/BS rates but they will not adjust my bill. I have tried multiple times to ask them to adjust the bill to a reasonable and customary amount. They are very unethical.

This is a doctor who is clearly more interested in the monetary gains of using every machine in his office to bill insurances, than in providing the care that patients need. I felt that he would even charge patients for using the bathroom if there was a way for him to do so. There are better options out there, especially since most of the positive reviews are coming from his own office staff.

Probably fine if you are lucky enough to have insurance. No compassion after $225 initial fee "needed" $335 more for test you can buy at cvs for $50. I'm a medical professional myself, who helps special needs children in valley, so thus no insurance. Refused refund because I was "seen". They did do 10 mins of entering info into computer. No help, no treatment. Now no money.
