About Kareem Niazi, M.D.

Kareem Niazi is an interventional cardiologist at James River Cardiology, in Richmond Virginia. Dr. Niazi is a board-certified general cardiologist and has interventional cardiology training. He specializes in treating blockages of the coronary arteries, as well as peripheral vascular disease, and structural heart disease. Along with his interventional procedures, Dr. Niazi is board certified in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Dr. Niazi was born in Albany, New York where he attended the Christian Brothers Academy high school. He went on to attend Dartmouth College and attended medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
