About Julie Dostal RD

Julie Dostal is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator with more than 20 years' experience in teaching people how to eat smart. Julie has counseled people with diabetes,
high cholesterol, disordered eating, high blood pressure, prediabetes, sports nutrition,
and weight issues.

Julie received a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition—Dietetics from Iowa State University and
a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology from Illinois State University. Julie has
taught nutrition at Illinois Central College. She is registered with the American Dietetic Association and
licensed to practice in Illinois. She is a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators,
Binge Eating Disorder Association, National Academy of Eating Disorders, Illinois Dietetic Association, Central Illinois Diabetes Educators, and Family and Consumer Science Professionals of McLean County.
