About Ejaz Tahir DDS
Dr. Tahir received his dental education at the University of Illinois Medical Center. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After earning his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors, Dr. Tahir the University of Illinois Medical Center and earned his Master's pursued two additional years of Orthodontics Degree (M.S.).
Dr. Tahir has published in scientific dental journals such as the Journal of Dental Research, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and authored a chapter on evaluating quality of orthodontics in the Michigan Craniofacial Growth Series. He has conducted research at dental schools in Illinois, Iowa and Michigan.
His professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontics, The Midwestern and Illinois State Societies of Orthodontists, The Alpha Omega International Dental Society and the Illinois and Chicago Dental Societies.
Dr. Tahir and staff regularly participate in orthodontic, TMJ and communication seminars to improve skills and to expand their services.
