I knew the day would come when my dentist of 42 years retired. What I didn't know was a week later, I would break a tooth and be on the search for a new dentist. Colleagues recommended Century Dental and doctors Allawnha and Penny. From my first phone call, I was greeted with professionalism and kindness. Upon entering the building, I felt a sense of welcome and of calm, despite my nervousness.Report
Colin, the dental assistant, called me back and actively listened to my story of having been to no other dentist in 4 decades. His reassurance that I was in good hands became truth the moment I met Dr. Allawnha. Kind, passionate about his calling, young, handsome, very knowledgeable and intelligent, compassionate, humorous, and understanding are the qualities that impressed me within the first few minutes. As a new patient, I felt heard and I felt valued, often rare in our busy world.
I spent quite some time in this office yesterday due to my needing a crown, and I can honestly attest that, yes, I was in "very good hands." I highly recommend Dr. Allawnha and Century Dental!
