I was surprised to see all the negative reviews on here so I feel compelled to share my thoughts! I just returned from a great stay at one of their properties. The house was very clean and comfortable, and we had no issues at all with the management company. The view from our deck was fantastic. We wanted to move in! I would definitely rent this property in the future and would recommend Carefree Quechee Vacations to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Our family had a great weekend stay in Quechee. The condo was nice, well equipped with everything we needed and the management company was helpful in answering our questions about the home and the area. Checking in and out was quick and easy and we'll plan on using Carefree Quechee again when we come back in the fall. Nice spot.

A terrific experience from start to finish. I've stayed in several Quechee preperties, and this team is absolutely the best. Great communication, very responsive, and well-maintained properties. They really went out their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay and felt welcome.

Carefree Quechee Vacations has enabled me to keep my vacation property consistently rented throughout the seasons, while professionally managing reservations, cleaning, check-in/check-out, and special guest requests. When unexpected issues with the property arose, they quickly addressed them for me and made sure the guests were happy, leading to strong reviews and additional bookings. Great team.

We had a great weekend and the rental home was great and most importantly clean!

Had a bad experience with these guys. Customer service is on the lowest level.

Most importantly we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We do our best to deliver great experiences for all of our guests. If you search us (Carefree Quechee Vacations airbnb) you will see several hundred excellent reviews in which we are frequently cited for our problem resolution skills. There are lot of things that can go wrong with a home and we work diligently to rapidly solve any issues.. We did a thorough investigation of the situation that caused you to post a negative review and wanted to report back on our findings. We have posted this same response to the five other reviews posted on Google Reviews by other guests in your party. We received your call on Saturday afternoon that the hot tub required attention and we dispatched one of our team members to visit the property. You shared with her that you used the hot tub the previous evening and it had had been operating properly. When you went to use it the next it was not operating, the water level was low and the water stagnant. As your rental was a two-day rental there was not enough time for us to restore the tub to proper operation for your stay as it would take 24 hours for the water to come up to temperature. The hot tub is professionally maintained by the largest pool and spa company in the area and they came to service the tub the next day. They informed us that the filters had been become clogged by skin and hair conditioning products. Once the filters clog enough to restrict the normal circulation of water the tub will shut down and the water will rapidly cool, become stagnant and cloudy. That is why it functioned on Friday night but the next day was problematic. It would not be unusual for a management company to charge guests for the clean-up caused by the conditioning products, but we chose not to do so. As well you submitted a request for a refund based on what you thought were differential rates between properties with and without hot tubs. The properties you chose as comparable were in totally different markets, the nearest of which was a 45 minute drive from Quechee. The three other properties were as far as 1 hour and fifteen minutes away. Our assumption is that you were unaware of the damage that skin care products can cause in a hot-tub or that the vacation rental rates vary greatly by location and region. We hope this helps better explain the situation.

These guys are not professional, and don't know how to handle a situation. If there is an issue that the customer alerts them to upon their arrival, the response shouldn't be to start a dispute and eventually blame everything on the customer. Disappointed and won't stay here again. Management needs training on customer relations, if good ratings are important to the success of their business.

The worse experience in my life! Management dont respond and didn't pick up the phone when we had problem. When we made a clime about not working supply and technique they claim that it is our fault. They are lying and cheat.

Extremely poor customer service! Be aware of them on Airbnb as well since they have multiple properties in Vermont. The house we stayed in was good, but we got it with bad maintained hot tub! Water level was low and color was green, no working jets, clogged filters, etc. They couldn't fix it during our stay. So we asked for a reasonable partial refund. In return they started blaming us for breaking it!! Unbelievable!! We'll continue to fight for our money and ruined vacation.
