We have been using BetterVet for about six months now. we have been thrilled with the in-home care. This was our first attempt with a virtual visit and it was great. We had a relatively simple need to discuss so it worked out very well.

We used to take my favorite creature on the planet Penny (14 y/o) the Abyssinian (formerly known as 10 PoUnDs oF TeRrOr! But no more because shes aged and is NOT a terror but a blessing!) to Penn Vet for years. We moved out of the city to Ambler and kept going for another 2 years but the drive was annoying with Penny building anxiety for us all. With covid they would not let us in and a few times they said she was so difficult they couldnt even take blood or check her mouth etc. She turns into a warewolf at the vet we believe because she was being held at a vet in Southern California where we rescued her 12.5 years ago. I always wanted an at home Vet for her and randomly I guess because Facebook listens to my google searches, there was an FB ad for BetterVet and I looked it up. Looked good to me! First experience for Penny yesterday and both Dr. Santore and her nurse/asst Tara were 10 minutes after the window of time, masks on, so kind and polite. We chatted a while about Penny, got her from her bed and brought her in. They had to wrangle her a little after she did her investigating to take blood and check her chest, lungs, heart, body scan because we had some lump concern etc. But Penny did 10x better than having to go into the Vet! And the PRICE: I would have to say comparable!! Maybe a dash more but nothing I even notice. This is a BLESSING to have come to our home and I will tell everyone I know about it, and post it on our neighborhood group as well. GO WITH BETTERVET to have a 500% better experience than even fantastic places like Penn Vet which we never had issue with, just with her age and issues, this is a no brainer.

I signed up for 6:00pm. The day of my appointment the confirmation email said 9:00pm. I called to try to confirm, no answer, I left a message, no call back. The website said I’d get a link to sign on 5 minutes before my appointment. I got the email at 5:55pm. I signed on at 6:00. Waited until 6:25. Hung up. No appointment. I tried to log in at 9:00pm, the link I was sent didn’t work. Not excited about my experience.

Hi Brandi, we see an appointment that you scheduled for 9pm EST. We called you and left a voicemail around 11am to offer you a home visit with one of our doctors since Troubles symptoms seemed concerning. We received no call from the number you provided. Our doctor stayed on the virtual call until 9:25 and called you to try to connect with you and left a voicemail. I am sorry that you were not able to connect with us, we certainly did try on our end. Such a wonderful company and so much less stress for your pets as the doctor visits in your home! ! Dr. Coughlin was so friendly & so gentle with all my cats! I definitely recommend & will use the service again!

A great first experience with Dr. Santore. My older cat was increasingly stressed by her vet visits so I decided to try this alternative. She was mildly annoyed, but Dr. S. knew exactly what to do. It was a very pleasant experience for my kitty and I, and we got some amazing advice for her skin condition. I highly recommend!

Dr. Coughlin was so caring to our senior golden, explained everything to us clearly and showed concern for our dog's comfort. The home visit made it so much more relaxing for everyone.

Highly recommend this company. The vet Carolyn Santore and the vet tech/nurse ( I wish I got her name) were so wonderful with my kitty. Professional and thorough, this home visit service is well worth the extra $ for my cat’s wellness visit and vaccines. Very convenient & much less stress for my cat.
