About Atul Vahil, MD

Dr. Atul Vahil founded Digestive Diseases Specialists of Colorado in 2001 with the mission of providing gastroenterology services to southern Colorado. Our approach is patient centered and emphasizes patient education of illnesses and participation in their own health care. Dr. Vahil has a distinction of being triple board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and clinical nutrition. His commitment to medicine and gastroenterology has earned him Fellowship of American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
