The Salem Wax Museum is located on a dead-end street in Salem, Massachusetts, adjacent to the Charter Street Old Burying Point, the second oldest burial ground in the United States, and the Tricentennial Witch Trials Memorial.
This eerie museum feature life-like figures depicting Salem’s history from 1626 through the witch trials of 1692. The wax replicas include author Nathaniel Hawthorne, the witch trial judges, the pirates of New England, and the accused witch Tituba.
There is also a hand-on activity area where visitors can rub gravestones, practice knot tying and visit a replica of a Salem jail cell.
During the month of October each year, you can take part in the “Haunted Neighborhood tour,” which includes the museum and many neighboring attractions.
You can purchase a variety of different passes that allow admission to the Salem Wax Museum and other venues. Single site passes are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children. If you want to visit more than one of the attractions, you can choose the Fun Pass (two attractions), Triple Fright (three attractions) and Salem Pass (four attractions).
To see everything, select the all-inclusive Halloween Pass, which includes admission to all the general attractions: Salem Wax Museum, Salem Witch Village Guided Tour, Frankenstein’s Laboratory, the Haunted Witch Village, and Within the Witching Hour.
