A Lifestyle is a Terrible Thing to Waste

HBO has released a hardcover book detailing the ins and outs of its most-watched comedy series Entourage. The title – Entourage: A Lifestyle is a Terrible Thing to Waste – neatly summarizes the show, in which the luxurious lifestyle of a movie star and his pals from back home are chronicled.

The book features exclusive interviews with cast members Adrian Grenier (Vince), Jeremy Piven (Ari), Kevin Dillon (Johnny Drama), Kevin Connolly (E), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle) and guest stars such as Bob Saget, Ralph Macchio and Seth Green.

You’ll also find:

  • Fashion profiles of each main character – including everything from Ari’s power suits to Vince’s casual uniform of jeans and tees.
  • A guide and map to famous and not-so-famous “Entourage” hotspots, including LA’s Chateau Marmont, the Standard Hollywood Hotel and several Las Vegas hangouts.
  • Outrageous, crude and remarkably offensive quotes that will have you laughing out loud.
  • Behind-the-scenes access to the cast, crew and creative teams.
  • A photo-packed episode guide.
  • “The 9 Rules of Successful Agenting” by Ari Gold

The book includes more than 100 previously unpublished images from the show’s first four seasons and is available from the HBO store or through Amazon.

The details surrounding the fifth season of “Entourage” haven’t yet been leaked, though it’s speculated the new season will begin airing in Spring 2008. “Entourage” has won two Prime-Time Emmy Awards, including a “Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” score for Jeremy Piven.
