Deutsche Grammophon opens its Web store today, allowing users to download works from its catalog.
At the shop’s launch earlier this week, users could select from 2,500 albums, 600 of which are out of print. You can browse–or buy–by work, for example Beethoven’s 9th, by individual tracks or by complete album. Eventually, Deutsche Grammophon, will make its entire catalog available on the site. Customers can pay for the downloads in dollars or euros, depending on their residence. Prices range from $1.09 for an individual track to between $10.99 and $11.99 for a full-length album.
